The Role

After two years in development, the Cascade product has launched and the company is looking for its first go-to-market role. As a bottoms-up SaaS company, Cascade's go-to-market motion combines targeted conversations, content creation and customer engagement to deliver a product-led growth engine.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll balance strategy, feedback gathering and synthesis to deliver new customers and inform the product roadmap.

Why It's Important

While just coming out of private beta, the Cascade product and has demonstrated both strong business value and user stickiness. With a recent public launch, Cascade is nearing the most important and exciting time for the go-to-market motion of any company: building the first playbook.

Within this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with the founders to build a sales and account management playbook from the ground up. You'll have a wide remit within a defined ICP to experiment with outbound motions and value prop articulations, discover the methods that work, then automate the process. Tactics will focus on balancing outbound and inbound motions.

Your Responsibilities

  • You'll work with the CEO and CTO to solidify Cascade's ideal customer profile, and use that profile to drive customer development
  • You'll leverage networks and outbound strategies to conduct outreach and set up prospect conversations
  • You'll conduct pitches of Cascade to new prospects, mapping product capabilities to the nuances of individual needs
  • You'll manage opportunities through the sales funnel
  • You'll help synthesize feedback and become an important input to the product roadmap, as you identify opportunities to differentiate Cascade and tell its story better
  • You'll help create content for current and future customers to help better tell the Cascade story

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in growth or sales in data-oriented companies
  • You've seen digital products grow early in their lifecycle
  • You're passionate about helping companies and products tell stories via use cases and customer case studies
  • You're comfortable with data-focused products
  • You care deeply about people, culture and laying the foundation for an incredible organization.
