Cascade is building a no-code data automation platform, allowing analysts and operations teams to feed the right data to the right people at the right time, without waiting for engineering help.

Cascade's mission is to give non-technical, data-savvy professionals the tools they need to build data workflows and trigger actions without code. Companies are drowning in dashboards, but it's absurdly difficult for non-technical teams to put their data to work. Cascade unlocks their skillset by allowing them to combine data of all kinds and sizes, manipulate and explore datasets, run sophisticated operations and publish the results. Once a workflow is built it can run automatically, so that analysts can rest assured that their data is going where it needs to go.

Role Overview

Cascade is looking to fill one of its first go-to-market roles, an Analytical Customer Engineer. As a collection of tools for data analysts, Cascade provides the building blocks for many types of analysis to occur in an automated, repeatable way. However, those building blocks need to be translated into example models and analysis that is relevant to each customer. That's where an Analytical Customer Engineer comes in, who can understand the needs of a customer, build relevant analysis that demonstrates Cascade's capabilities, then train data analysis on how to use the platform themselves.

Your Responsibilities

  • You'll work with the CEO and CTO to customize Cascade's primitives to models relevant to operations teams
  • You'll participate in early sales calls and lead subsequent conversations, helping understand the customer's analytical needs and how Cascade fits into their workflow
  • You'll help customers build their first analytical models in Cascade, translating existing analytical workflows from Excel or code into the Cascade platform
  • You'll gather feedback from customers on how the Cascade's primitives fit their needs, and what should be built on top of Cascade to better serve them
  • You'll train customers on the proper use of Cascade and how they can build additional models going forward
  • You'll generate and collect feedback on the Cascade product along the way, which will get prioritized and roadmapped by the engineering team.


  • 5+ years of experience in data-driven sales engineering or implementation
  • You're highly analytical, able to translate large datasets into predictive insights
  • You have experience working with CPG or physical goods companies
  • You have experience implementing and customizing complex data-based products
  • You care deeply about people, culture and laying the foundation for an incredible organization.
