Unlike work done in a spreadsheet, analysis in Cascade is repeatable, auditable, deeply collaborative and automatically up-to-date. Overview

The Cascade product is nearing launch after two years in development, and the company is looking for its first go-to-market role. As a bottoms-up SaaS company, Cascade's go-to-market motion combines targeted marketing, content creation and customer engagement to deliver a product-led growth engine. As the go-to-market lead, you'll be responsible for building and refining that machine.

After an extended beta period, Cascade needs to translate its early success into a repeatable go-to-market motion, combining marketing, prospecting and light-touch sales into a sustainable growth engine. We're looking for a go-to-market lead to head that effort.

Why It's Important

The Cascade platform has been in development for almost two years and has a number of active customers using it every day. With a public launch imminent, Cascade is nearing the most important and exciting time for the go-to-market motion of any company: building the first playbook.

Within this role, you'll have the opportunity to build that playbook from the ground up. You'll have a wide remit to experiment with channels and strategies, discover the methods that work, then automate the process. Along the way, you'll be collecting insights from customers on both expected and unexpected uses of the Cascade product, which will have a significant impact on the product roadmap.

Your Responsibilities

  • You'll work with the CEO and CTO to customize Cascade's primitives to models relevant to operations and other data-savvy professionals inside operations-heavy companies
  • You'll participate in early sales calls and lead subsequent conversations, helping understand the customer's analytical needs and how Cascade fits into their workflow
  • You'll help customers build their first analytical models in Cascade, translating existing analytical workflows from Excel or code into the Cascade platform
  • You'll experiment with a number of prospecting and customer acquisition channels, determining which deserve further investment and experimentation
  • You'll gather feedback from customers on how the Cascade's primitives fit their needs
  • You'll train customers on the proper use of Cascade and how they can further integrate the product into their workflow
  • You'll generate and collect feedback on the Cascade product along the way, which will get prioritized and roadmapped by the engineering team.
  • You'll build a playbook based on experiment results and customer input, defining the optimal steps in an efficient go-to-market motion

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in data-driven marketing, sales or sales engineering
  • Experience
  • You're highly analytical, able to translate large datasets into key insights and metrics
  • You have experience working with operations or data-heavy processes
  • You have experience implementing and customizing complex data-based products
