The Role

After two+ years in development, the Cascade product has launched and the company is transitioning from founder-led sales to building a repeatable GTM motion. As a bottoms-up SaaS company, Cascade's go-to-market motion combines targeted marketing, content creation and customer engagement to deliver a product-led engine.

Reporting directly to the CEO and as one of the first GTM hires, you'll balance strategy, experimentation and execution to discover and build around sustainable growth paths.

Why It's Important

While just coming out of private beta, the Cascade product and has demonstrated both strong business value and user stickiness. With a recent public launch, Cascade is nearing the most important and exciting time for the go-to-market motion of any company: building the first playbook.

Within this role, you'll have the opportunity to build the marketing playbook from the ground up. You'll have a wide remit to experiment with channels and strategies, discover the methods that work, then automate the process. Tactics will focus on content marketing and intent capture, but are open to other experiments.

Your Responsibilities

  • You'll work with the CEO and CTO to build a portfolio of growth experiments, each one designed to deliver insights about our target audience and how to best reach them
  • You'll get a sense of the texture of Cascade's customer base by participating in occasional customer calls
  • You'll experiment with a number of prospecting and customer acquisition channels, determining which deserve further investment and experimentation
  • You'll work with design and content creation resources to build a repository of use cases and case studies, which will be used to drive further adoption
  • You'll become an important input to the product roadmap, as you identify opportunities to differentiate Cascade and tell its story better

Qualifications

  • You have 5+ years of experience in digital marketing
  • You have strong experience with intent capture and other paid acquisition channels
  • You're familiar with how data- or analytics-related products are sold
  • You've seen digital products grow early in their lifecycle
  • You're passionate about helping companies and products tell stories via use cases and customer case studies
  • You're comfortable with data-focused products
  • You have experience working with operations or data-heavy processes
  • You care deeply about people, culture and laying the foundation for an incredible organization.
