But those teams pay a heavy tax, spending large chunks of time cleaning data or waiting in the engineering backlog. Cascade's mission is to uplevel those teams, giving them the tools they need to deliver results without code. Cascade unlocks their skillset by allowing them to combine data of all kinds and sizes, manipulate and explore datasets, run sophisticated operations and publish the results. By automating the messy data work, Cascade frees teams to express their talent fully and become more valuable to their organizations.

The Role

After two years in development, the Cascade product has launched and the company is looking for its first go-to-market role. As a bottoms-up SaaS company, Cascade's go-to-market motion combines targeted conversations, content creation and customer engagement to deliver a product-led growth engine.

As a visual designer, you'll develop the visual communication style for Cascade, primary focused on marketing and communication but impacting the product as well.

Why It's Important

While just coming out of private beta, the Cascade product and has demonstrated both strong business value and user stickiness. With a recent public launch, Cascade is nearing the most important and exciting time for the go-to-market motion of any company: building the first playbook.

Within this role, you'll have the opportunity to build the marketing playbook from the ground up. You'll have a wide remit to experiment with channels and strategies, discover the methods that work, then automate the process. Tactics will focus on content marketing and intent capture, but are open to other experiments.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define/refine the visual style and language for publicly-facing Cascade assets
  • Update Cascade marketing materials (website and print materials)
  • Develop illustrations and product abstractions for use in Cascade marketing materials
  • Develop product layouts and custom elements
  • Develop creative for Cascade ad campaigns

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in growth, marketing or sales
  • Project focus in visual, illustration or marketing design
  • Strong product portfolio with similar projects
  • Ability to effectively balance creative discovery and speed
  • You're passionate about helping companies and products tell stories via examples, use cases and case studies
